HEADQUARTERS

[hed-kwar-turs] -noun 1. The offices of a command staff, of a military or para-military unit, from which guidance and plans are issued. / 2. A center of operations or administration: CovertChemistry has its headquarters in the suburbs of Washington, DC.

In Military and Law Enforcement, different levels of headquarters are defined for different echelons of command and control and are typically split into HQ Forward, HQ Rear echelons.

Our most critical mission here on staff is to support you, the Operative in the field with the information, technology and training you need to be successful.

Whatever your goals are as an individual Operative or whatever your mission requirements are as an Action Officer leading a field team, All we are to you is a communications hub and a logistics support chain.

And brother, we have got you covered.

There’s a lot of white noise out there on the internet from a lot of charlatans masquerading as experts.

From the training that we provide, to the concierge adventure travel we plan, to the products that we endorse everything, (and we mean everything) is put through its paces to make sure you have a maximum return on your investment.

For the purposes of organization, however, we’ve divided our staff into six distinct specialized directorates:

The Operations Group

Ops guys are just that: staff dedicated to empowering our Operatives with the core skills and abilities that allow them to be successful throughout the three phases of the Operational Planning Process:

Intel Preparation and Targeting / Implementation and Control / Execution and Review

The Office of Clandestine Services

The Office of Clandestine Services exists to support the Operative in the field with the establishment of contacts on the ground, arrange for international travel and provide you and your team with logistical support outside the scope of what your team’s control element can provide.

By the time you reach the front desk of the hotel in Buenos Aires, and the lovely lady in the pants suit hands you your room key, they’ve already made sure your favorite vodka is chilled and waiting on top of the mini-bar, and Ricardo, your expat contact downtown makes sure you’re introduced to all the right locals.

The Clandestine Imagery Branch

One of the largest parts of Operative fieldwork in Intel Preparation and Targeting requires the analysis, generation, and interpretation of imagery. The Clandestine Imagery Branch is the single source of doctrine, techniques and subject matter expertise in helping you leverage the power of imagery to achieve your stated goals.

The Office of Technical Services

In Ian Fleming’s world of shaken martinis fueling epic battles with evil geniuses, the Office of Technical Services would be Q Branch. OTS is here to scour the landscape for tips and tricks for repurposing things in daily life to support Operational objectives, as well as to review technology we recommend. They’re here to issue guidance on the very best ways to employ technology in the field.

Security is tight, and the gents in the white coats are a bit cagey, but they’re good enough to turn a set of cuff links into an 8GB information transfer device that’ll stand up and whistle dixie, not to mention show you how to wire yourself for sound, or defeat electronic security countermeasures.

PSYOPS (Psychological Operations)

The majority of the techniques covered in the Operations Manual and taught by our industry-leading coaches are based on two very specific principles: Pretexting and Rapid Didactic Assimilation. Pretexting is the act of creating and using an invented scenario to engage a targeted person or organization in way that increases the likelihood that they’ll divulge information or allow movement or action that would be unlikely to be allowed within the bounds of ordinary circumstances. They’re the maniacal mammoth mentalists who have developed and continue to develop the CoverChemistry Core Scenarios.

Rapid Didactic Assimilation is the core principle that drives the development and delivery of Operative training. Without getting too far down into the details, the 30 second commercial goes something like this: given sufficient stress on the student, and causticity of training delivery – internalization of new habits and skillsets can be accellerated to astounding degrees. The deep and lasting implantation of details associated with memories or extreme life events are examples of this.

HQ PSYOPS is dedicated to pushing the intellectual envelope on both fronts, and making sure you have the ability to stay one step ahead of the opposition in the field.

Communications Branch

If information can’t move, it can’t keep pace with the tempo of the Operation. It needs to be secure, clear and free flowing. Communications Branch is dedicated to making that a reality. Each message or data point that passes through your network (human or digital) must pass from Sender – Message – Channel – Receiver… and it’s gotta be secure. From developing low-tech personal encryption methodologies to create codes for your personal team to making sure your digital footprint isn’t leaking information like an Emo garage band’s whiny Facebook page Communications Branch doctrine and the best practices they recommend are here to counter the biggest threat to Operational Security: your mouth.
